The plot of Season 4 kicks off directly after this major stumbling block—and as the trailer revealed, it leaves Midge trying to become a headline act in her own right so she never has to deal with similar humiliation again.

After the release date of the new episodes, fans will get to meet a couple of new characters, including a This Is Us heartthrob, an actor that viewers may recognize from Gilmore Girls (a show also created by Amy Sherman-Palladino).

Read on to find out when you can watch the new episodes online, who is joining the cast, and where the story is set to go for this fourth installment.

What Will Happen in ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ Season 4?

The season begins shortly after her biggest professional humiliation—when she was dumped from Baldwin’s tour for essentially outing him on stage (which, to be fair, was a pretty tasteless move).

Rather than learning not to bite the hand that feeds her however, Midge decides to be the hand—that is, she tells Susie that from now on, she wants to be the headline act, so she can say whatever she wants (which definitely has no parallels to certain comedians’ reactions to so-called “cancel culture” today…).

Elsewhere, the Weissmans find themselves in another new home, with Abe and Rose moving into Midge’s former Upper West Side apartment—which, of course, causes plenty of friction between the family members if the trailers are anything to go by…
